Report Reveals Bias From the NHL Concerning Suspensions
With the ongiong discussions about Brendan Gallagher's anticipated suspension, attention has been drawn to the inconsistencies in the NHL's Department of Player Safety rulings.
On X, a post indicates that both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins are among the teams with the highest suspension rates, and the difference is notable.
DOPS talk made me curious as to who have been the most suspended teams in the Parros era (17/18 to Pres)
- On-ice suspensions only

Allegations of Bias Against NHL's Department of Player Safety and George Parros

Fans have been vocal in criticizing George Parros, head of the Department of Player Safety, accusing him of being biased towards the Montreal Canadiens. Parros played a few years in Montreal, where the biggest rivalries were with the Bruins and Maple Leafs.
I mean.. BOS and TOR at the top does make you wonder if there is some bias here concerning George Parros.
To compare Gallagher's upcoming suspension, which will likely be at five games or less, with Jason Spezza, who was also a first-time offender when he got suspended for six games. Some believe this discrepancy exists because Gallagher is in Montreal.
Reminder that Jason Spezza got 6 games for this as a first time offender.
Do you think George Parros is biased?
