Calgary Flames Place Ruzicka And DiSimone On Waivers
The Calgary Flames are in an interesting position as the All-Star break comes up. They sit near the bottom of the standings and have had a pretty disappointing year in their first since GM Brad Treliving left.
Now, it looks like they are gearing up to make some moves, and have placed Adam Ru�ička and Nick DeSimone on waivers today.
Ru�ička is a bottom-six centreman who has appeared in 39 games thus far with the Flames. He has recorded 3 goals and 6 assists for 9 points so far but has a disappointing -8 rating.
DeSimone is an undrafted defenseman who has played in just 23 games so far this season, tallying 1 goal and 4 assists with a -4 rating.
We will see if any team decides to take a shot on either Ruzicka or DeSimone or if they will be heading to the Wranglers of the AHL.
