With the NHL, NBA, and the MLB all set to resume soon, there have been a fair share of players who have come out voicing their displeasure with hub cities, living arrangements, and many other things. St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko, however, made it clear he is not worried about any of that.

“We don't go there like for a resort, where we're expecting unbelievable food service, like five-star summer resort. We're going for playing hockey… I don't need much to live. I just need a bed and food,” said the 28-year-old Tarasenko.

The 2019-20 season was a frustrating one for Tarasenko, as he was limited to just 10 games due to a shoulder injury which required surgery. In those 10 games, he was his usual productive self with three goals and 10 points. Just a few days ago, the team announced he was fully recovered and ready to participate in the upcoming playoffs, which are set to begin in about two weeks.

Tarasenko and his teammates will play in a four-team round-robin tournament (each team plays each other once) with the Vegas Golden Knights, the Dallas Stars, and the Colorado Avalanche in order to determine seeding. The Blues will look to make these playoffs a repeat of last year's, where they were able to win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
