Tentative agreement reached by NHL and NHLPA, dates set for resumption of play
On Monday, the NHL and NHLPA reached an agreement regarding the Return to Play Plan (RPP) and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
The agreement involves adding an additional four years to the current CBA term.
In addition, the following dates have been confirmed:
July 13: Start of formal training camps;
July 26: Clubs travel to hub cities;
August 1: Start of Qualifying Round.
In order for the agreement to become officially ratified, it must be approved by the NHL's Board of Governors, the NHLPA's Executive Board, and the full NHLPA membership.
