Ilya Mikheyev, the undrafted forward lighting it up for the Toronto Maple Leafs this, is now on Twitter. His account? @Souperman65 of course.

Mikheyev, with 7 points in 11 games, mostly in bottom six minutes, became a fan favorite from his very first interviews, when he wondered out loud why a country as great as Canada lacks soup-eaters. Since then, he has garnered a lot of positive media reviews in the harsh Toronto market and is turning heads back at home in Russia. Former NY Rangers and NJ Devils legend Sergei Nemchinov opined that Mikheyev has the best start of all the Russians in the NHL. Former Colorado Avalanche and NY Rangers star Valeri Kamensky called for Mikheyev to be added to the Russian National Team.

Mikheyev's account went online yesterday, and at the time of this writing has over 7200 followers.
