Brad Marchand Goes Viral for Revealing His Childhood Favorite Team

bruins captain Brad Marchand has gone viral today after he revealed who his favorite childhood team was during the Bruins game against the St. Louis Blues.

The Halifax native did not have a local team to root for, so naturally, he gravitated towards Canada's team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. Today he revealed this in a production segment during his game against the Blues and many fans instantly noted how ashamed he seemed to be for admitting that he was a Leafs fan.

Fans seemed to have fun with the segment as they laughed at the Bruin's captain sheepish answer to the question.

Luckily for Marchand, he also had some good things to take away from tonight as the veteran surpassed 900 career points.

The Bruins are looking to makeup for their embarrassing 1st round exit last year after they had the NHL's best regular season in league history.
