If you're a Boston and/or Brad Marchand fan and happen to have a few million dollars lying around, you can own a great conversation piece in Boston's north end. The 32-year-old Bruins pest has decided he needs more space and is selling his Lincoln Wharf penthouse duplex for a cool $2.85 million (taxes and home owners' association fees will run another $30,000 annually).

“It is bittersweet to leave the home where we started our family but plan to grow in the near future and needed more bedrooms closer to the rink!” Marchand told Compass.

As for what he loved about the home? “Our favorite memories were the countless nights we spent on the balcony overlooking the skyline with the kids. We will miss living right on the water in walking distance to so many great restaurants and friends.”

Apparently 3544 square feet of space isn't enough. It's also interesting that he wants his new home to be closer to TD Garden, considering this one is less than one mile, or 1.6 kilometres away from the arena.

The home, which we have posted a few pictures of below, boasts three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. It is indeed beautiful, although not really lavish for someone who's last contract was worth $49 million over eight years. According to Compass's mortgage calculator, the home costs about $14,500 a month over 30 years with a 3.51 percent fixed interest rate.
