As announced by Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon on Monday, the organization has signed goaltender Logan Thompson to a two-year, entry level contract.

Thompson, a native of Calgary, Alberta, spent parts of four seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and appeared in 32 games with the East Coast Hockey League's (ECHL) South Carolina Stingrays through the 19-20 season.

During the 18-19 season Thompson was named the U Sports OUA West Goaltender of the Year after posting a 2.22 GAA and .934 save percentage through 24 games with Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.

He also helped lead the Brandon Wheat Kings to a Western Hockey League Championship in 2016.

Following the signing, it's anticipated that Thompson will likely fall into the roster of the Henderson Silver Knights, the Vegas Golden Knights newly founded AHL affiliate.
