Goaltender Michael Sochan just scored a 200-footer in the Surrey Eagles' preseason match versus the Langley Rivermen, securing a 4-2 win.

Sochan, 20, is in his first BCHL season for the Eagles. He split time between five teams across four leagues last year, and he is undrafted into the NHL.
Surrey kicks off their regular season against Wenatchee on Friday, September 23. The Eagles lost in the first round of the playoffs and look to advance further this year.
