Chicago Blackhawks veteran defenseman Duncan Keith will miss Saturday's game due to groin injury. Keith left Friday's game against the Avalanche in the second period. NBC Sports noted Keith has been dealing with the injury for some time, but last night he felt as though he couldn't finish the game. There is no time-line for his return at this time.

Vegas Golden Knights forward Cody Eakin left Friday's game against the Arizona Coyotes after suffering a high elbow from Coyotes center Brad Richardson. There is no time-line available as of Saturday morning, however head coach Gerard Gallant said after Friday's game that "we should know more tomorrow."

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dmitri Kulikov left Friday's game against the Anaheim Ducks after being pinched into the glass by Carter Rowney. After looking at the hit, it appears to be a possible separated or dislocated shoulder. There is no time-line as of yet, but it's estimated that he's out at least two weeks.

Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Garret Sparks has been sent back down to AHL affiliate Chicago Wolves. Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to return to the line-up after a leave of absence following the passing of his father.

Former NHL journeyman Eric Tangradi has been released from his NHL contract with Nursultan Barys. Tangradi had 5 goals and 4 assists in 22 games.

Matt Niskanen blocked a puck with his face in Friday's 6-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings. He would require 15 stitches but returned to the game with a full cage. He was quoted as saying "It's not as bad as it looks."
