TJ Brodie of the Calgary Flames went through a scary incident at practice Thursday, suffering an apparent seizure on the ice while standing idle during a drill. He was stretchered off the ice and it was reported that he seemed both conscious and alert.

It has since been updated that Brodie underwent testing at the hospital following his collapse, and has been released. The Calgary defenseman is now home with his family, doing well and in recovery.

Another update will be provided by Calgary's General Manager Brad Treliving from the Saddledome today.
