The City of Lethbridge, Alberta has decided to rename one of their local hockey arenas. What was formerly known as the Adam Park Ice Centre, will now be the Logan Boulet Arena; in honour of Logan Boulet, who tragically passed away on April 6th, 2018.

Boulet grew up in Lethbridge, and was one of the 16 victims in that tragic bus crash.

5 weeks before the crash, on his 21st birthday, Boulet had signed on to become an organ donor. His organs were still intact after the crash, and have since been donated to six people across Canada. This encouraged nearly 200,000 Canadians to sign their organ donation cards.

Logan`s passing also inspired Green Shirt day; which is similar to Pink Shirt day for bullying. Green Shirt day serves to promote organ donation.

On top of the arena being named after him, there will also be a display case that will feature Logan`s Broncos jersey, his skates and jersey from minor hockey, as well as pictures of him.

Logan made a lasting impact on the city, and his memory will live on forever through the arena that he grew up playing in.
