Auston Matthews joins Ryan Reynolds in hilarious commercial to benefit Sick Kids

With the holiday season drawing ever closer, we should all remember that while we're in the spirit of giving, there are some less fortunate who could also use a little extra joy in their lives. This is the message that actor Ryan Reynolds and NHL superstar Auston Matthews are hoping to convey to fans in a funny and heartwarming commercial for Sick Kids Hospital.

Reynolds, who can be seen donning his famous "ugly Christmas sweater" in the video, runs through a series of ideas that he thought might make an impact for the kids who may be stuck spending the holidays in the hospital, one of which is Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews attempting to show Reynolds "something pretty cool" while donning that very same ugly Christmas sweater, all to have Reynolds hilariously pan away in mid shot. Reynolds, who is a Canadian hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia does work with the Sick Kids Hospital every year. Like Reynolds, Matthews has also very graciously given his time and attention to the charity in the past, raising both funds and awareness for the organization on numerous occasions.
