Friday Night TBL-BUF Game Reportedly Facing Postponement
According to Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff, Friday night's tilt between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Buffalo Sabres will likely be postponed due to a snowstorm set to smother the northeast.
Seravalli elaborated that the NHL is taking precautionary measure in postponing the game, so that players and team staff are not stranded for the holidays.
The precedent for when this game is to be made up - set during the COVID era - suggests that the two teams will play this game when their schedules align OR at the end of the season, before the start of the playoffs.
Although, no official word has been made on the situation as of yet.
