Currently, San Jose's only two for-sure top four defensemen are Mario Ferraro and Erik Karlsson. P.K. Subban would likely slot into the top-four and make an immediate impact on a team that is very shallow at defense.
The team actually only has five right-handed defensemen in the entire organization. This includes Erik Karlsson and Matt Benning, and prospects Ryan Merkley, Gannon Laroque, and Mattias Havelid.
Even though he isn't what he once was, Subban could change the course of a San Jose Sharks team clinging to stray from the bottom of the league.
