Toronto has finally activated Mitch Marner from IR sending down C Nic Petan and D Martin Marincin. F Nick Shore was waived yesterday as well. Marner has missed the last 10 games, but should be good to go tonight against the Avalanche.

For the Avs, they have an epic return of their own. Two weeks after taking a puck to the head, F Matt Calvert will return to the lineup. Gabriel Landeskog and Andre Burakovsky are not far behind.

The Wild beat the Panthers last night, but lost two key players to injury. Mikko Koivu is day to day, while D Jared Spurgeon is expected to miss at least two weeks.

The Flyers also lost a key player in the 6-1 drubbing of the Maple Leafs. Michael Raffl goes on LTIR with a broken finger, Mikhail Vorobyev recalled from the AHL.

D Yegor Rykov has finally been deemed healthy by the Rangers, taken off IR, where he has been since the preseason, and sent down to the AHL.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane left practice early today, after took an accidental elbow to the face from teammate Zach Smith. He did not return. No further information on his condition available at this time.
