Pekka Rinne is definitely a household name. Since becoming Nashville's starter in 2008, he has quickly become one of the hottest goaltenders in the NHL.
The four time Vezina Trophy finalist and 2018 Vezina winner continues to meet and exceed expectations. He's also continued to hit career milestones along the way.
Nashville's 3-0 shutout win over the Hurricanes on Friday night marked two more milestones for the all-star netminder.
Rinne earned his 58th career shutout, effectively moving him into a tie for 19th all-time among goaltenders with Marc-Andre Fleury and John Roach.
The win would also be Rinne's 350th career win, making him just the 22nd goaltender in NHL history to reach that number.
Rinne's latest shutout could not have come at a better time, as he helped the Preds snap a six-game losing streak with the 31 save performance.
