Last night, the St. Louis Blues played host to the Nashville Predators in a spirited contest. Over the years, a great rivalry has developed between the two Central Division rivals. On occasion, when there is a heated rivalry, one side may step across the line. Such is the result for Blues defenseman Robert Bortuzzo.
An uneventful game between these two teams does not exist and last night's tilt was no different, as Viktor Arvidsson was the target of a questionable attack at the hands of Bortuzzo.

The hulking Blues' defenseman did not go soft on the undersized Preds' forward, who seems to have been hurt on the play. Bortuzzo's pair of aggressive cross-checks will earn him a phone call with the Department of Player Safety.

It has been confirmed that Arvidsson was injured on the play and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks. This development should factor in to the length of Bortuzzo's impending suspension..
