Matthew Tkachuk did not hold back after Calgary lost it's fourth straight game Sunday night and got shutout for the second game in a row.
“It's disgusting,” he told reporters after a 6-0 loss to Vegas. “It's bad, it's bad right now. We need to change this around.”
He also told reporters the situation is "getting pretty old" as the Flames record dropped to 10-10-3.
"Something's got to change here. We have to get back to the old us and get out of this little funk we have here because this is not fun,” he said.
“It's not fun being down in games and it's not fun leaving your goalie out to dry like that.”
Cam Talbot turned aside 31-of-37 shots in his fifth start of the season.
Tkachuk leads the Flames with 10 goals and 10 assists through 23 games this season. He's said he's hoping the team can turn things around during their next game Tuesday night against the Colorado Avalanche, the team Calgary played--and lost to--in the first round of the playoffs last year.
