It's not often when you score in the double digits and end up losing a game, especially in top-tier junior hockey like the Ontario Hockey League. That was exactly the case for the Sudbury Wolves, who managed to force overtime in a game against the Hamilton Bulldogs, only to lose 11-10.

At the end of the 2nd period of the Sunday night game, Sudbury was losing 9-6 to Hamilton. The Wolves scored three goals in the first half of the third to tie the game at nine goals apiece. However, Hamilton would strike again with just over seven minutes left to take a 10-9 lead.

With just 13 seconds left in regulation time, Sudbury's Blake Murray, who had already scored once in the game, tucked the puck into the net to tie it at 10 goals each and force overtime. Both teams would battle hard in the extra period, but with just seven seconds to go, Hamilton's Tag Bertuzzi scored his fourth goal of the game to finally put the final nail in the coffin for the Wolves and give the Bulldogs a winning score of 11-10. Bertuzzi and Avery Hayes combined for seven of Hamilton's 11 goals in the game.

Both teams ended up using both their starters and backup goalies during the game. Both of Hamilton's netminder let in five goals on 11 shots each. As for Sudbury, Christian Purboo let in eight goals on 34 shots, while Mitchell Weeks stopped just two of five shots.
