By recording his 5th career hat trick in last night's 6-2 victory in Anaheim, Connor McDavid picked up his 400th, 401st, and 402nd career points. In doing so, McDavid became just the eighth player in NHL history to record 400 career points before his 23rd birthday. McDavid is the 13th fastest player to reach the 400- point mark, taking him just 306 career games to do so.

McDavid became the 17th player in NHL history to have at least 45 career 3-point games through their 400 career points, which is also the most out of all active players.

Connor McDavid is currently tied for 2nd in league scoring with Boston's David Pasrtnak with 30 points, while the other half of Edmonton's dynamic duo, Leon Draisaitl, leads the way with 34 points.
