As you may have read last week, Kade Foster went viral when his father tweeted to the Maple Leafs in hopes of some much needed birthday wishes, after his invited friends didn't attend his birthday party.
The Leafs saw the tweet and took swift action, wishing Kade a happy birthday and even followed up with some personal tweets from Toronto super stars John Tavares, Mitch Marner and others. Among the tweets from the team, it was noted that Kade would be in for a special surprise from the Leafs organization.
That special surprise? A trip for the entire family to Toronto to meet the Maple Leafs. Kade got to meet the team, take photos, and will be in attendance for tonight's game, in which the Leafs will host the Philadelphia Flyers.
If the smiles in the pictures are any inclination, Kade's birthday has definitely turned around for the better.
