Put another player on the injured reserve for the Colorado Avalanche. The team has announced defenseman Nikita Zadorov is out indefinitely after taking a puck to the face in Thursday night's game against Nashville.

Currently, with the addition of Zadorov, Mikko Rantanen, Gabriel Lansdeskog and Colin Wilson are all on injured reserve. Goaltender Phillip Grubauer is day-to-day and will miss at least one more game, while Nathan MacKinnon is also listed as day-to-day after also leaving last night's game with a lower-body injury.
While Colorado seemed no worse for wear last night, beating Nashville 9-4, obviously the team cannot continue to sustain injuries to it's main players and expect to make a playoff run.
UPDATE: Zadorov has a broken jaw. Ouch.
