It looks as if Milan Lucic has found himself in some hot water following an altercation with Blue Jackets forward Kole Sherwood.

Milan Lucic took exception to a rather aggressive poke that Sherwood took on Flames backstop David Rittich to try to jam the puck into the net from underneath the netminder. Though the whistle had not been blown, Lucic thought that the play was unnecessary, so the big winger proceeded to go after Sherwood behind the net, and nearly took his head off with a vicious sucker punch, buckling him to the ice before pouncing on top of him to land a few more shots in the aftermath.

The refs would eventually restore order and Lucic received a 4-minute double minor for roughing, but it will not end there. Lucic's violent sucker punch has earned him a hearing with the Department of Player Safety as well.
