The Avs promised an update on Mikko Rantanen's status today and they delivered, though the update is scant on info.
Av's head coach Jared Bednar announced that Rantanen, who suffered what appeared to be a gruesome ankle injury against the Blues on Monday, is considered week-to-week with a lower body injury. If taken at face value, this would indicate a lack of a serious break or a tear in the forward's leg. Rantanen was tied with Nathan McKinnon for team lead with 12 points.
The Avs promised to have another update next week.
