Nashville locks up forward Eeli Tolvanen to a multi-year deal
Nashville Predators GM David Poile completed a tidy piece of business on Monday afternoon, inking RFA forward Eeli Tolvanen to a multi-year deal.
Tolvanen, 22, played 40 games for the Preds last season, finding the back of the net 11 times in his rookie season, adding 11 assists assists 22 points over that span. The Vihti, Finland native finished the season tied for the most game-winning goals for the Preds with 4.
Nashville has taken the slow-cook approach with Tolvanen after drafting him in the 1st round (30th overall) back in 2017.
Tolvanen's new pact with the Preds is for 3 years and $4.35M (a $1.45M AAV).
