Robin Lehner practising with AHL affiliate Silver Knights

On Wednesday, the Vegas Golden Knights announced that goaltender Robin Lehner has been sent to their AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights on a conditioning stint. The Goteburg, Sweden native has been out of the Golden Knights lineup since February 7th with an upper-body injury.

"I think it's one of those injuries that when you get it, you hope it's a week but it's all based on symptoms and becoming symptom free. There is no timeline on those types of injuries," said coach Peter DeBoer early last week. "You're hopeful when the injury happens that it's a quick recovery, but you're prepared that if symptoms persist that it might be a little longer. I can just tell you that it's heading in a positive direction and hopefully we'll see (Lehner) soon."

In 5 games this season, Lehner has a record of 3-1-1 with a 2.96 G.A.A., and an .890 save percentage.

Vegas also announced that goaltender Oskar Dansk, who has been replacing Lehner in the lineup since early February, was sent down to Henderson on Wednesday. This move likely indicates that Lehner is only a few days away from returning to the lineup. In a corresponding move, goaltender Logan Thompson has been recalled from Henderson, and will back-up Marc-Andre Fleury for Wednesday night's game in Minnesota.
