Some good news for Philadelphia Flyers fans hit the news on Thursday, as team reporter Sam Carchidi tweeted out that forward Nolan Patrick is starting to make serious strides in his recovery with ongoing head issues.

Carchidi said that Patrick has been skating without issues as of late and has had a much easier time sleeping as his headaches have diminished. While there are still hurdles to overcome, this is great news given the uncertainty of his issues. The 22-year-old was forced to miss the entire 2019-20 season due to ongoing problems with migraines. It has been an extremely frustrating process for the 2017 second overall pick, as there seemed to be no answer as to when the problem would get better.

Thankfully for both Patrick and Flyers fans, it appears he is finally getting healthy. This would be a huge boost to an already stacked Flyers team, as they would add a solid secondary scorer to their lineup. In 145 career games to this point, Patrick has 26 goals and 61 points. Of course, given that he was so highly projected coming out of junior hockey, it is still very possible he turns into much more than just a secondary scorer in the NHL.
