The players who participated in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity were current Canucks, Elias Pettersson, Alex Edler, Zack MacEwan, and Thatcher Demko. They were joined by former Canucks defencemen Troy Stetcher, who signed with the Detroit Red Wings this off-season, and Jason Garrison, who is currently a free agent.
They also had Olympic gold-medalist Patrick Chan, and his wife, figure skater Elizabeth Putnam, join them.
The entire trip was organized by Bradley Friesen, who is a social media influencer, and a helicopter pilot based out of the Vancouver area. If it wasn't for Bradley Friesen, we wouldn't be able to gaze our eyes upon these amazing pictures taken by the players who went.
Several players made posts on Instagram about their incredible adventure. The photos were incredible, as you can see below:

"The pictures don't even do it justice but.... throwback to a little hockey in paradise," Demko said in his post.
"Pretty indescribable feeling taking a helicopter way up in the mountains for an unforgettable day and one crazy place to play pond hockey #tb," MacEwan mentioned.
Meanwhile, Troy Stetcher posted a video of him stickhandling on his Instagram story, and said only two words, which most likely everyone is saying to themselves after seeing the pictures, "Outdoor heaven."
