The helmet was designed and made by ShiftyPaint, a company based out of Bakersfield (California). It features Seattle's primary logo on each side, with the Kraken wordmark on the top. In the front of the mask, in the chin area below the cage, it features a Kraken, which is a legendary sea monster the team was named after. After a quick scan of their Twitter account, it appears that this isn't the first time they've designed a mask for the Boston native.
Daccord heads into his second season with Seattle, after they picked him from Ottawa in the Expansion Draft in July 2021. He spent the majority of the season in the American Hockey League, but also appeared in five games for the Kraken.
Check out Daccord's mask, in all its glory, in the tweet below!
