Evander Kane bankruptcy trustee considering legal action against firm that arranged his loans
Over the last year, there has been plenty of drama surrounding Evander Kane, and it all started around the time he was forced to declare bankruptcy in January of 2021.
Kane was said to have owed money to many different creditors, and has since admitted to having a gambling problem. The trustee overseeing his bankruptcy claim however is looking to sue Sure Sports, a company that arranges high-interest rate loans to athletes. It was them that arranged the majority of Kane's loans which put him in the difficult situation.
Whether or not this goes anywhere remains to be seen, but it is an interesting story given all the headlines surrounding Kane's name recently. Hopefully he is soon able to put all this negative press behind him and starts making wiser choices in regards to his finances.
