For the Pittsburgh Penguins, who have faced injury after injury this season, this could be the worst one yet. Superstar Sidney Crosby left Saturday night's game against Chicago after appearing to get injured twice on the same play.

In the third period, Crosby appeared to go awkwardly into the boards and possibly twisted and ankle or hurt his leg on a sequence with Blackhawks' defender Erik Gustafsson. Just a short while later, he blocked a shot by Gustafsson with the toe of his skate and left the game. Take a look:


At a news briefing, head coach Mike Sullivan reported that the 32-year-old center was being examined by the team's doctors and that he would have no further news until Monday.
