Jets' centerman Adam Lowry will be facing a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday, after laying a very heavy hit on Calgary Flames' defensemen Oliver Kylington.
The hit would result in a boarding call and scrum between the two teams, in the final seconds of the second period of this year's Heritage Classic game on Saturday evening.
Winnipeg would go on to start the third period short handed, but still came back to win the game 2-1 in overtime.
The NHL Department of Player Safety announced the hearing via Twitter on Sunday morning.
