The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled Joel Farabee and Mikhail Vorobyev from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL. In addition, the team has also loaned forward Carsen Twarynski to the Phantoms.

After being the last cut from training camp, Farabee will make his NHL debut tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights. Farabee was selected 14th overall by the Flyers in the 2018 NHL entry draft and spent the following season playing for Boston University, recording 17 goals and 36 points in 37 games. His impressive collegiate season lead to him being named the Hockey East freshman of the year. The 19 year old has had no struggles adjusting to pro hockey so far, recording 3 goals and 4 points in 4 games with the Phantoms.

22 year old, Mikhail Vorobyev was selected 104th overall in 2015. Vorobyev has spent the majority of his career in the AHL with the Phantoms, racking up 18 goals and 59 points in 105 games. He appeared in 15 games with the Flyers last season, picking up a goal and an assist in that span. Like Farabee, Vorobyev has gotten off to a hot start in the AHL this season, recording 2 goals and 4 points in 5 games.

As it looks right now, Farabee will slot in on the third line with Scott Laughton and Kevin Hayes, while Vorobyev will center the fourth line between Michael Raffl and Chris Stewart.

Philadelphia currently sits 7th in Metropolitan Division with a 2-3-1 record.
