The Ottawa 67s and the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League don't like each other, and that became abundantly clear Friday night as an all-out line brawl erupted between the two team.
The London Knights were on the power play when 19 year old defenseman Ryan Merkley, taken by San Jose in the first round of the 2018 draft, fired a shot from the blue line that found its way into the 67s net. The goal seemed pretty minor, but fights started breaking out all over the ice.
Hudson Wilson of the Ottawa 67s delivered a slash to someone on the Knights immediately following the goal, and that's what set things off. What ensued was an all out melee. You can watch the video below.
