It looks like Stars defenseman Roman Polak is going to be ok after a horrendous run into the boards during a game between Dallas and the Boston Bruins Thursday night. Polak was stretchered off the ice after hitting the boards hard and almost head first. In the meantime, Polak's agent, Allan Walsh, ripped into NESN's Bruins play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards for comments made while Polak was on the ice. Allan Walsh took to twitter and called Edwards a "piece of sh--" and "an absolute disgrace."
After Polak hit the boards and was laying on the ice in obvious pain, NESN's Bruins color analyst Andy Brickley said "That looked self-induced, didn't it?", to which Edwards replied "Has a little bit of bad hockey karma."
Walsh praised the Bruins teams for their concern for Polak, but had nothing nice to say about Edwards and his comments regarding "karma."

According to Dallas head coach Jim Montgomery: “The good news is Roman has full use of his extremities and we feel he's pretty good at the hospital,” he said during his post-game press conference. “But we don't have results yet. We're hopeful he may be a player in a couple days.”
Considering the fall, it's amazing that the damage isn't much worse. You can view the incident below:

It isn't all good news for the Stars. Forward Blake Comeau took a puck to the face late in the first period and the team says he is expected to miss "several weeks." Forward Jason Dickinson was missing from the bench to start the second period. Montgomery said he suffered an upper-body injury in the first period and he's expected to be out at least a week, pending results of an x-ray.
