The former 19th overall pick, Kieffer Bellows, was among the 23 players placed on the NHL waiver wire today.
Teams across the NHL are starting to cut players from their training camps as we get closer to the regular season. Once again today, the list of players placed on waivers came out at 2 pm. E.T. and just like yesterday, 23 players are now up for grabs.

Yesterday, all players cleared, and it should stay that way today. All of these players are expected to play in the AHL next season, and considering that most teams don't have a lot of cap space, it would be surprising to see a team claiming one of them.
Even Kieffer Bellows, drafted 19th overall in 2016 by the New York Islanders and placed on waivers by the Nashville Predators, should join the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL in the AHL.
