Former first-round pick Josh Ho Sang is hinting at a return to the New York Islanders AHL affiliate in Bridgeport. Ho Sang made a post on Instagram that featured Eminem's "Without Me" that concentrated in the lyrics "guess who's back, back again." Ho Sang wrote on the post "Time to play hockey."
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman later cleared up any confusion, confirming Ho Sang is heading back to the AHL.

Ho Sang has yet to play this season after requesting a trade in early October. The 23-year-old was unhappy that he had once again failed to make the main roster and had been sent back to the AHL out of training camp. At the time, Islanders Head Coach Barry Trotz said Ho Sang had "his best camp", adding "his attention to detail was much better." It still wasn't enough to make the main team, though. GM Lou Lamoriello had told Ho Sang not to report to Bridgeport while he was working on a trade.
Ho Sang has been added back to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers with a new number; 40. He had been using 26 previously. You can view the bio here
It seems no one is questioning Ho Sang's talent or potential to be an NHLer. However, his pro career so far has been marred by reports of a questionable attitude and lack of consistency. If he is reporting to the AHL, it seems clear a suitable trade could not be worked out by the New York Islanders.
