If we think back to November 2nd, when the Devils came up strong against the Carolina Hurricanes with a 5-3 win, one milestone stands out. New Jersey's star defenseman P.K. Subban scored a tip in goal to give the Devils a 4-3 lead. This goal would be the 100th of Subban's career.

While this proved to be an exciting moment for P.K. and the Devils, it would be the last time Subban's name would touch the score sheet to date.
Since scoring his 100th goal, Subban has gone 20 consecutive games without a goal or assist. A big drought for a $9,000,000 a year defenseman.
Subban, who has yet to have a season with less than 31 points since the 2010-2011 season, has netted just five points (2 G 3 A) through 32 games played this season.
As a key part of the defensive core in every organization he's played for, big things were expected from the 30-year-old when he came to the Devils on a trade from Nashville before the start of the 2019-2020 season. Unfortunately for P.K. and the struggling Devils, he has yet to produce the way he was expected to.
Subban currently has 2 more seasons left with New Jersey before becoming an unrestricted free agent in the 2022-2023 season. He'll need to get some points on the board and snap this drought if he hopes to remain an elite defenseman in the public eye.
