During Sunday's battle between the Winnipeg Jets and Philadelphia Flyers, Flyers forward Joel Farabee received a five-minute major penalty and game misconduct after a hard, late hit on Winnipeg forward Mathieu Perreault.

The hit would end up resulting in supplemental discipline, as it was announced Sunday evening that Farabee will face a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday.

The Jets went on to win the game by a score of 7-3. Head coach Paul Maurice spoke on Perreault's condition, post-game, stating the forward was “up and moving around, but I won't say he's okay.”

Maurice also noted that the Jets medical staff will conduct further testing and have more answers on Monday.
