The Jets went on to win the game by a score of 7-3. Head coach Paul Maurice spoke on Perreault's condition, post-game, stating the forward was “up and moving around, but I won't say he's okay.”
Maurice also noted that the Jets medical staff will conduct further testing and have more answers on Monday.
