After having served a 20 game suspension for performance enhancing substances, Vegas Golden Knights forward Valentin Zykov was placed on waivers and assigned to the Chicago Wolves in late November.
The latest development of this story has Zykov recalled following injuries to forwards Cody Eakin and Cody Glass. The Golden Knights made the call out of necessity, due to the club being down to only 11 forwards heading into Tuesday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
It is expected (per Jesse Granger of The Athletic) that Zykov will appear on the fourth line, alongside Tomas Nosek and Ryan Reaves.

Given his shaky past, perhaps this can be both a turning point and learning experience for Zykov, who has struggled to establish a solid spot for himself in an NHL line up.
