No often you see the owner of an NHL hockey team taking to social media to call out critics. However, not every owner is Francesco Aquilini of the Vancouver Canucks. Aquillini took to Twitter Sunday to call out anyone who is still questioning the trade GM Jim Benning made for foward J.T. Miller back in June. Check it out:

At the time of the trade, many questioned why a team in the midst of a rebuild would give up a first round draft pick for a player whose best season saw him get 56 points, while he never did better than 43 points outside of that. This season, however, Miller seems to be on a tear. Right now, he's a point-per-game player, with 12 goals and 28 points in 28 games.
Some of the responses to Aquilini's Tweet were positive, others not so much. Some chose to point out other questionable deals Benning has made in the last couple of years, while one stated management really shouldn't brag about a team "fighting to stay above .500 while only being six points above the last place team in the West."
Vancouver got Miller from Tampa Bay for a third-round pick in 2019 plus a conditional first-round pick in one of the next two years. Vancouver only gives up its first pick in 2020 if it makes the playoffs. Should the team fail to do so, the pick can be moved to 2021.
