Patrick Marleau is returning to where it all began. The San Jose Sharks have signed the forward to a new deal. According to Pierre LeBrun, it's a one year contract worth $700,000. But, of course, he made some money from Carolina when the team bought him out of the last year of his contract when he was traded there by Toronto this summer.
