Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery has confirmed that captain Brad Marchand will not be playing in tonight's game against the Florida Panthers.
Brad Marchand suffered an injury off of a controversial hit from Sam Bennett two nights ago, and now the Boston Bruins captain will be unavailable for tonight's key game four against the Panthers.
It truly is crazy how Bennett does throw that fist/butt end into Marchand's head here. I can't believe TNT didn't pick up on this. I know it would've been headline central if roles were reversed

Thus, the worst has been confirmed.
Per Montgomery, #NHLBruins Brad Marchand is out tonight.

This is crushing news for the Boston Bruins, who are facing their toughest competition of the year against the red-hot Florida Panthers after managing to shut down the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round.
Hopefully Brad Marchand will be back soon, as it would be heartbreaking to see the Boston Bruins' season end in such a way.
Do you think Sam Bennett deserved a suspension for his bit on Brad Marchand?
