The Vancouver Canucks are looking to cash in on a shot Drew Doughty took at the team last month. After the LA Kings lost 8-2 to Vancouver earlier this season, Doughty called out his own team and insulted the Canucks in the process.
“It's (expletive) just embarrassing. A team like that should not be beating a team like ours 8-2, there's absolutely no way.”
As a response to Doughty's words, the Canucks are now selling t-shirts with the Vancouver logo on it, and written just above in bold lettering is "Team like that." Check it out:

This isn't the first time an NHL team has decided to run with what was supposed to be an insult. Last season, Hockey Night in Canada's Don Cherry called the Carolina Hurricanes a "buncha jerks" for their "storm surge" celebrations following wins at home. The team fully embraced the supposed disparagement, selling merchandise with the nickname on it. The name has stuck with the Hurricanes and is still in use now.
As for Doughty, even without the new t-shirt, he may need to eat his words. Vancouver now has an 8-3-1 record to start the season. The Kings, on the other hand, are a dismal 4-9-0 and are tied with Chicago and Minnesota for last place in the Western Conference.
