Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak had yet another phenomenal season this year, posting career highs with 48 goals and 95 points in just 70 games. The 48 goals allowed him to win his first ever Rocket Richard Trophy, splitting the award with Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin.

His point total and overall play has him in the conversation for the Hart Trophy, although that will not be announced until after the playoffs. He did win another award though, and this one puts him in some extremely elite territory. It was announced on Thursday that Pastrnak won the Golden Hockey Stick as the Czech Player of the Year. That in itself is impressive, but makes it stand out is that it is the 24-year-old's fourth straight season winning the award, which ties him with none other than Jaromir Jagr, who also won four in a row. With the win, Pastrnak ranks third in overall victories all time, behind both Jagr (12) and Domink Hasek (5).

The young Czech superstar won the award easily, receiving 51 out of 52 first-place votes. His teammate, David Krejci, finished seventh in the voting. He has won the award once, back in 2013. After losing out in the Stanley Cup Final to the St. Louis Blues last season, both will try and continue their excellent play in the playoffs as they attempt to bring the Stanley Cup back to Boston for the first time since 2011.
