Per TSN Hockey Insider Pierre Lebrun, the Florida Panthers do not appear to be in the mix for Taylor Hall.
Lebrun- "The Panthers interest in was believed to be tied to the idea of signing Hall or at least thinking they could eventually sign him." The cost is otherwise seen as too high for a rental player.
Lebrun also added that Florida could re-enter the sweepstakes for Hall if the price were to go down.
Hall has been a healthy scratch for New Jersey's past two games for precautionary reasons in anticipation of a trade. It is believed that 5-6 teams are still in the running to receive Hall, including the Colorado Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes.
