Though the Philadelphia Flyers left the Wells Fargo Center with a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, they did not do so completely unscathed. It was a spirited battle in which Philadelphia's leading scorer, Travis Konecny, was forced to leave the game. He will not be returning to the line up in the foreseeable future.
As he came through the neutral zone, Konecny was absolutely leveled by Ottawa defenseman Mark Borowiecki.

Konecny was slow to get up and needed assistance to get off of the ice. He did not return.
The Flyers organization announced Monday morning that Konecny is out “indefinitely” after suffering a concussion on the play.
INJURY UPDATES:
Forward Travis Konecny has a concussion. He is out indefinitely.
Forward Joel Farabee will not practice today (wisdom teeth removed).
Forward Oskar Lindblom will not practice today (maintenance).— Philadelphia Flyers (@NHLFlyers) December 9, 2019
Konecny's injury will be a tough for the Flyers to bounce back from. The 22-year-old is in the midst of a breakout season, leading the team in scoring, netting 28 points in just 30 games.
