Jake DeBrusk exposes one intimidating Boston Bruins player
Jake DeBrusk's time in Boston is officially over, and now he's opened up on the one player in the organization that truly intimidated him.
The Boston Bruins during Jake DeBrusk's time were full of all time legends in the NHL, with the likes of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, Rick Nash and many others, but in his latest interview, DeBrusk reveals that there was one player whose presence truly intimidated him.
Unsurprisingly, DeBrusk pointed out the intimidating, 6-foot-9 frame of Zdeno Chara as that player, and given what he did physically over his iconic NHL career, it's safe to say that no one can blame DeBrusk. Given the physicality, the experience and the overall demeanour, Chara was a nightmare for opponents to play against throughout his entire NHL career.
DeBrusk however would go on to quickly say that he became one of the best players to be around in the locker room given what we know about his personality, but standing at 6-foot-9 and being so physically dominant, it's no wonder that players across the ice from him were intimidated for so long.
