Colton Sceviour heading overseas after 535 games in the NHL
After 535 games across parts of eleven seasons in the National Hockey League, Colton Sceviour has decided to leave North America and has signed a one-year contract with National League club SC Bern in Switzerland.

Sceviour, 33, was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the fourth round in 2007. He went on to play for the Stars, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins and split the 2021-22 season between the Edmonton Oilers and their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors. The Red Deer native tallied 156 points (66 goals, 90 assists) during his 535-regular season games and eight points in nineteen Stanley Cup Playoff games.
According to the press release from SC Bern, Sceviour is expected to join up with the team next week as they prepare for the start of the 2022-23 NL season. SC Bern will open the season on September 16th at home against EV Zug.
